2021 is the year of the rat in the Chinese lunar calendar, and at Mrs Mactivity we have plenty of year of the rat resources, year of the rat lesson ideas, and year of the rat worksheets! Chinese New Year Number Tracing Activity
Children love learning Chinese Numbers! Challenge them to trace then write their own Chinese numbers, then you can use these for some simple maths games! Ask children to set challenges for each other in pairs using the Chinese numbers – for example simple additions and subtractions. Great as a code breaking activity!
