CBeebies’ Sid Sloane to Open Childcare Expo Midlands!

Childcare Expo Midlands is returning to the Coventry and putting on even more of a show for Early Years & Primary professionals. To celebrate Childcare Expo’s 10th birthday, CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane will be opening the show and providing entertainment for visitors. Sid has decades of experience in children’s entertainment, and was one of the original presenters who launched the CBeebies channel in 2002. He recently founded children’s project, Roots4Kids, as a way of empowering children from low socio-economic backgrounds, so expect some powerful, motivating stories. Sid is also hosting a workshop on children’s mental health on Friday 27th September and will be entertaining the crowds throughout the day, so be sure to say hello during your visit! Registration now OPEN for Childcare Expo Midlands 2019


For the tenth year running, Childcare Expo Midlands is preparing to return to Coventry to celebrate the show’s milestone birthday on 27th– 28thSeptember. Now the longest-running exhibition in the early years and primary education sectors, the organisers have announced that registration for the last event of the year is now open. Returning to the Ricoh Arena, Childcare Expo Midlands will host a number of inspiring speakers and special guests for visitors to learn from and interact with throughout the two days. The show will provide a full programme of CPD seminars, with a range of topics including Ofsted inspections, speech development, SEND, team motivation and the future of EYFS. A brand new feature area has also been announced for the event, where visitors will be able to get hands-on and learn how to make their own creative phonics activities to take back to their school or setting.
