We’re delighted to announce that we have been invited to run our very own workshop on the 28th September 2018 at Childcare Expo Midlands! Since starting Mrs Mactivity, back in December last year, the support for what we do has been absolutely overwhelming. We’ve always aimed to stand out from the crowd, and provide innovative and creative learning ideas and resources that kids genuinely enjoy – no more boring worksheets! To be recognised by the Early Years sector in this way and meet so many wonderful people really is a dream come true.
About Childcare Expo
Childcare Expo Midlands is a free event dedicated to everyone who works in the early years sector. It takes place at Ricoh Arena in Coventry and attracts thousands of visitors each year. There are seminars to increase your knowledge and for CPD, workshops like ours, and lots and lots of stands and exhibitors with interesting and useful products that are perfect for Early Years. It’s basically everything Early Years!
So – the details!
12:30pm – 1:30pm: Who wants to make a unicorn?
Attendees will have the opportunity to use Mrs Mactivity resources to make their own unicorn crafts in a way that can be translated to their own settings. We will also be giving ideas on how you can extend the concept of a unicorn into the area of personal, social and emotional development, demonstrating how to encourage children to think about what is unique and special about themselves and others.
