CBeebies’ Sid Sloane to Open Childcare Expo Midlands!

Childcare Expo Midlands 2019

Childcare Expo Midlands is returning to the Coventry and putting on even more of a show for Early Years & Primary professionals.

To celebrate Childcare Expo’s 10th birthday, CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane will be opening the show and providing entertainment for visitors.

Sid has decades of experience in children’s entertainment, and was one of the original presenters who launched the CBeebies channel in 2002. He recently founded children’s project, Roots4Kids, as a way of empowering children from low socio-economic backgrounds, so expect some powerful, motivating stories. Sid is also hosting a workshop on children’s mental health on Friday 27th September and will be entertaining the crowds throughout the day, so be sure to say hello during your visit!

Alongside Sid, there are some great suppliers, innovative products, interactive activities, and a full two days of seminars designed to inform and inspire!

Your very own Mrs Mactivity is running an action packed workshop on both the Friday and Saturday – from show open to close, and you can make your very own fishy phonics game, explore animal poo and more! There will also be a special membership offer and fun freebies for those that join Mrs Mactivity on the day. Find out more about our workshops here.
