Access complete Year 1 Spring maths resources aligned with the White Rose small steps. This term focuses on developing addition and subtraction within 20, place value to 50, and measurement including length, height, weight and volume.
Pupils build confidence using number bonds to 20, comparing number sentences, and solving problems using tens and ones. They’ll also measure using non-standard and standard units, compare lengths and mass, and start to use scales and rulers for practical maths activities.
