Year 3 Place Value within 1,000 Lesson Slides – Week 2
These Year 3 teaching slides support Week 2 of Autumn Block 1: Place Value within 1,000, following the White Rose Maths small steps progression.
The presentation helps pupils develop secure understanding of partitioning three-digit numbers into hundreds, tens and ones, including flexible partitioning and representing numbers using place value counters. Slides also support key Week 2 learning such as finding 1, 10 and 100 more or less and using number lines to 1,000 to position numbers accurately.
To keep teaching clear and organised, these slides are intended to be used alongside the Week 2 lesson plan, which provides the full sequence of lessons and links to the supporting worksheets and activity resources for each day.
