Year 3 Place Value Chart Activity Cards

These Year 3 place value chart activity cards support pupils in reading, building and understanding three-digit numbers using hundreds, tens and ones.

Each card encourages pupils to represent numbers on a place value chart, helping them visualise how digits change depending on their position. This links closely to partitioning within 1,000 and strengthens understanding of the value of each digit during Autumn Block 1.

The cards follow the White Rose Maths small steps progression and are ideal for partner work, small group support, maths meetings, or retrieval practice across Week 2.
