Year 3 Addition and Subtraction within 1,000 Revision Mats

These Year 3 revision mats provide focused practice of addition and subtraction within 1,000, helping pupils revisit key skills from Autumn Block 2.

The activities support fluency with adding and subtracting ones, tens and hundreds, using number bonds and place value patterns to calculate efficiently. They also work well for quick retrieval practice, lesson follow-up, or revision before an end-of-block assessment.

The mats follow the White Rose Maths small steps progression and are designed to support pupils as they move from mental strategies into more formal methods later in the block.
