Year 2 place value baseline assessment

Use this Year 2 place value within 100 baseline assessment at the start of the Autumn term or before teaching Autumn Block 1. It’s designed to help you understand what pupils already know about place value, so you can plan lessons, interventions and groupings more effectively.
This formative assessment gives a helpful overview of each child’s grasp of key place value concepts and provides a reference point to compare progress as the unit develops.
