Use this end of Autumn Term Year 5 SPaG assessment to check pupils’ understanding of key grammar objectives. Perfect for consolidating learning or as a SPaG test before moving into the Spring term. This grammar assessment covers a wide range of Autumn objectives, including:
- Identifying noun phrases in context
- Spotting and completing relative clauses
- Recognising and using modal verbs for possibility
- Using adverbs to show degrees of possibility
- Editing commas for clarity
- Inserting brackets to indicate parenthesis
- Writing and punctuating -ed clauses
