Start the day with five ready-to-use Year 5 morning starter activities for the Autumn Term. Autumn set 6 combines short maths, spelling and English tasks with daily questions, giving pupils regular opportunities to revisit important Year 5 skills as they settle into the school day.

Across the five sessions, pupils practise multiplication and division, factors and multiples, prime, square and cube numbers. English activities include using commas accurately, correcting grammatical errors, identifying pronouns, choosing appropriate adverbs and descriptive writing. Spelling tasks revisit the mis- prefix, homophones, -able and -ible endings, commonly misspelt words and irregular plurals.
