Year 3 Using Number Lines to 100 Worksheets

These Year 3 number line worksheets support pupils in placing, estimating and working with numbers to 100 as part of the Autumn place value unit.

Pupils practise locating numbers on marked and partially marked number lines, helping them develop a clearer sense of position, distance and value. This builds strong foundations for later work with three-digit number lines and place value within 1,000.

The activities follow the White Rose Maths small steps progression and work well alongside Autumn Block 1 teaching, either within lessons or as extra practice for pupils who need more confidence with number positioning.
