A winter theme is a great way to really develop your children’s understanding of the changing seasons. It is such an exciting time of the year with the prospect of snow and a visit from Santa just around the corner so I always find children are super enthused to engage in anything wintery – especially if it involves ice! You can tick off lots of Understanding the World statements here and get in lots of fun and interesting investigations both indoors and out.
