This Phase 5 Spin to Win Alternative Graphemes Game – Phonics Family Range is ideal for helping children working on alternative graphemes, or just for practising blending skills in an interesting way. Ideal for provision areas and home learning too. A brilliant way for practising spellings too for older children!
We’ve been working with the lovely Katie from Phonics Family to develop a whole new range of phonics resources that add a multi-sensory, activity-based element to phonics learning. Perfect for phonics intervention groups, during phonics sessions and for home learning, children will love these phase 5 phonics activities!
Suitable for ages 4-7.
How to use
– Print out the spinner, cut it out then push a pencil through the middle.
– Choose which alternative graphemes you want to work on. For example ee/ea.
– Spin the spinner. When it lands on a sound; say that sound and find it on the bingo board. Cross it off or use a bingo dabber to make it clear it’s been “done”.
– Continue until all the words are crossed off the bingo board. If playing with friends – who will fill their bingo board first?
