KS1 maths money resources
Use our Add Money to the Purse Whole Class Teaching Version to model adding different amounts of coins to the purse as a whole-class teaching activity, inviting children to come up, choose a prompt card and add the correct number of coins to the purse.
Designed to be aligned with the following objectives from the KS1 maths national curriculum:
- recognise and use symbols for pounds (£) and pence (p); combine amounts to make a particular value
- find different combinations of coins that equal the same amounts of money
