Designed to be aligned with the following objectives from the KS1 maths national curriculum:
- recognise and use symbols for pounds (£) and pence (p); combine amounts to make a particular value
- find different combinations of coins that equal the same amounts of money
There are also editable prompt cards so that you can tailor this money activity for your class, making it trickier or easier depending on their ability. This resource pack contains
- large treasure chest
- coins in strips
- prompt cards
- editable blank prompt cards
Comes in a zip file with both colour and black/white versions.
