Lunar New Year EYFS resources and ideas
A collaboration with Miss LVT, Early Years leader. This Lunar New Year Provision Topic Pack – Miss LVT’s Range contains a huge range of weekly provision plans and ideas complete with tuff tray set up photos, adult-led teaching opportunities for each area of the EYFS, recommended books, activity sheets, key questions, differentiation and more, covering all areas of the EYFS.
This provision pack has been specifically designed for Lunar New Year, as it’s so important to share different cultures and celebrations with young children so that they are aware of the world around them and they grow up to be inclusive and accepting members of society. There is a whole area in the EYFS framework titled ‘People, Culture and Communities’ with an ELG being ‘know some similarities and differences between different religious and cultural communities in this country’. So this is a piece of that puzzle. Includes:
