Year 6 SPaG Scheme – SATs Grammar, Punctuation and Writing Skills

Support Upper Key Stage 2 writing development and SATs preparation with our structured Year 6 SPaG scheme of work. Lessons are designed to help pupils secure grammatical accuracy, punctuation knowledge and technical vocabulary while developing confidence in applying SPaG skills independently within their writing.

This Year 6 SPaG scheme includes differentiated grammar worksheets, SATs-style SPaG activities, interactive teaching slides, spelling resources and clear lesson planning linked to National Curriculum English Appendix 2 objectives.

Pupils revisit and deepen understanding of formal and informal language, passive and active voice, punctuation choices, cohesive devices and advanced sentence structures through carefully sequenced lessons that support editing, discussion and written application.
