Explore the KS2 science schemeOur Year 6 science scheme of work helps pupils develop scientific knowledge and enquiry skills through engaging, practical lessons linked to the National Curriculum. Pupils investigate light and evolution and inheritance while developing their ability to evaluate evidence, explain scientific ideas and apply their understanding to new situations.
These Year 6 science lessons encourage pupils to think critically about scientific theories and evidence. Through discussion, investigation and enquiry, pupils develop a deeper understanding of how scientific knowledge develops and how scientists use evidence to support explanations about the natural world.
