This Year 6 shape assessment provides a clear and structured way to assess pupils’ understanding of key geometry concepts, including angles, circles, polygons and 3D shape properties. It supports teachers in identifying strengths, gaps and next steps in learning.

The assessment covers a range of geometry objectives, beginning with classifying and measuring angles, before moving into calculating missing angles using knowledge of straight lines, vertically opposite angles and angles in shapes.
