Year 4 Spring spelling resources – SPaG scheme
Support structured spelling teaching with our Year 4 spring spelling resources, created to accompany the Spelling Strand Year 4 – Spring Term – overview and rationale and the wider Mrs Mactivity SPaG scheme. These resources follow the Spring term spelling sequence and provide pupils with regular opportunities to practise, apply and secure key spelling rules and patterns.
Each week focuses on a specific spelling rule, word ending or word type, supported by a consistent practice routine. The Spring term includes spelling patterns such as -sion and -ssion, -cian, possessive apostrophes and homophones, alongside statutory word list spellings.
