These resources follow the Summer term spelling sequence, giving pupils regular opportunities to practise, apply and secure key spelling knowledge.

Summer term coverage includes word families, homophones, and Year 3 and 4 statutory word list spellings. The term then develops spelling accuracy through patterns such as ‘ou’ spellings and word endings including -tion, -sion and -ation, before revisiting key spelling patterns.
