This Year 2 life cycles lesson helps pupils understand that animals grow and change in different ways, and that some animals change shape as they grow. Part of our Animals Including Humans – Growth unit, this lesson focuses on the life cycles of butterflies and frogs.
Pupils explore each stage of the life cycle using sequencing activities and visual resources, developing key scientific vocabulary and confidence describing change over time.
