Year 1 Science Wild Plants Lesson Pack
This Year 1 Wild Plants lesson introduces children to a variety of common wild and garden plants found in the UK. Pupils learn how to identify and name different plants, understand where they grow, and explore how to look after them safely.
Children take part in a guided plant hunt or scavenger activity, practising careful observation and recording skills. They also learn that some plants may be harmful to touch, developing awareness of safe behaviour outdoors.
