How to use

• This Maths Masters Reception assessment pack is intended for use after week 5 of the summer term (depending how long the half term is)
• Each of the assessment objectives has a suggested activity which requires minimum preparation or for which the supporting resources are included.
• The assessment activities can be delivered on a 1:1 or in a small group depending on the needs of individual pupils. They provide teachers with the tools to assess pupils’ understanding and achievement in maths and identify gaps before moving on to the next block or term.
• The included record sheet enables teachers to see at a quick glance where there are any gaps or if any pupils would benefit from intervention activities. This will enable you to accurately record and monitor their progress so far.
