By the end of the autumn term, the children have completed twelve weeks of the maths curriculum.

This Maths Masters Reception assessment pack is intended for use after week 12 of the autumn term.
Each of the assessment objectives has a suggested activity which requires minimum preparation or for which the supporting resources are included.

The assessment activities can be delivered on a 1:1 or in a small group depending on the needs of individual pupils. They provide teachers with the tools to assess pupil’s understanding and achievement in maths and identify gaps before moving on to the next block or term.
The included record sheet enables teachers to see at a quick glance where there are any gaps or if any pupils would benefit from intervention activities. This will enable you to accurately record and monitor their progress so far.
