Phase 5 Tricky Words Unicorn Stabling Game

This Phase 5 Tricky Words Unicorn Stabling Game is great for using at both home and school! Aimed at year 1 age children (5-6), this game is perfect for helping children to learn and consolidate the tricky words they are learning as part of phase 5 phonics.

To play the game, give one stable sheet to each child, and give them some of the included unicorn cards too – or better still, use toy unicorns. Shout out each tricky word one at a time and encourage the children to put their unicorn or card in the correct stable. Keep going until all the tricky words are covered! Then ask children to repeat, working with a partner.
