Year 1 Geography Lesson – Let’s Explore the Park!
Take your class outdoors with this Year 1 geography lesson explore the park, part of the Out and About block in our KS1 geography scheme of work. Pupils use maps and compass directions to locate features in the local park, practise directional vocabulary (north, south, east, west, near, far, left, right), and distinguish between human and physical features. This fieldwork lesson encourages pupils to:
