In this block – Nursery Maths Autumn Block 2: Exploring and Building with Shapes and Objects – you will complete the following small steps; explore and play with shapes, show interest in simple differences between shapes, put shapes and blocks into position, select shapes for a reason, begin to explore and describe natural shapes and objects and find and collect objects for a purpose.
Contains comprehensive lesson plans with key questions, stem sentences and continuous provision learning opportunities. Slides, games and activities.
– Use with children aged 3-4.
– Covers all mathematical aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework by following White Rose small steps.
Each block is designed to be taught over two weeks, averaging 3 lessons a week to ensure coverage across the year. However, we understand that each and every setting is totally unique so you may choose to teach more one week and less the next. Though we strongly suggest that these are taught in sequence.
