Our Reception Summer term maths resources cover all key EYFS objectives through engaging, hands-on activities that help children apply and connect their learning. Each block follows the White Rose EYFS small steps and builds on prior knowledge to strengthen number fluency, spatial reasoning, early operations and mathematical language.

From counting beyond 20 to solving addition and subtraction problems, pupils develop confidence with numbers in practical and meaningful ways. Our lesson packs include EYFS maths worksheets, planning documents, interactive slides, challenge tasks and continuous provision ideas – all designed to support effective maths teaching in Reception.

Blocks also include early concepts like grouping, sharing, and exploring shape and direction through play. In the final block, pupils consolidate and reflect on their learning by making mathematical connections, reasoning and problem solving.

Everything is sequenced for progression and ideal for building strong foundations for Year 1. Whether you’re teaching whole class, running adult-led groups, or enhancing continuous provision, this scheme supports consistent, high-quality maths teaching throughout the Summer Term.
