Reception Maths – Spring Block 3: 6, 7 and 8

Help pupils build confidence with the numbers 6, 7 and 8 in Spring Block 3 of our Reception Spring maths scheme. These lessons support number representation, one more and one less, number composition, odd and even numbers, doubles and conceptual subitising through practical activities, purposeful talk and optional Reception number worksheets.

With strong foundations as the focus, pupils use visual models and practical resources to represent, compare and explain number structures, building fluency and confidence for later number work.
