Explore our collection of Year 3 geography units, covering European regions, climate zones, biomes and the geography of the UK. Each block includes lesson planning, teaching slides, differentiated activities and assessment opportunities to support progression across Lower KS2 geography.

Part of our Glorious Geography scheme, recognised as Highly Commended by the Geographical Association, these units help pupils develop geographical enquiry, mapping skills and understanding of human and physical geography through practical, engaging learning.

About our Year 3 geography units

These Year 3 geography units support pupils in developing geographical understanding through region studies, climate investigations and UK geography. Lessons are designed to work flexibly within different curriculum structures and typically fit within a 45-60 minute geography lesson.

Recognised as Highly Commended by the Geographical Association, our Glorious Geography scheme supports progression from EYFS geography through to KS2 geography, including mixed-age geography planning.
