EYFS Geography – Scheme of Work

Introduce early learners to geography with our EYFS geography scheme of work. Linked to the Early Learning Goals for “Understanding the World”, this scheme helps children explore their local area, recognise weather and seasons, use simple maps, and compare different environments.

Part of our Glorious Geography scheme of work, recognised as Highly Commended by the Geographical Association, this EYFS scheme includes lesson plans, age-appropriate worksheets, vocabulary cards, and interactive slides to support curiosity and early geographical skills.

Our EYFS geography scheme of work gives children the chance to explore their surroundings, notice the weather and seasons, and begin to understand the wider world. Activities are practical, play-based and enquiry-led, helping children develop early geographical vocabulary and skills.
