Money primary resources
Help children understand the value of British coins with our British Coin Matching Strip Activity. You can use this activity in a few different ways:
- ask children to cut out the various coins and stick them in the correct place to show that they understand what each coin represents and what its value is.
- ask children to write on the value of each coin.
- you could also play a fun game of coin bingo to help children with coin recognition.
This money activity is related to the following national curriculum objective:
- recognise and use symbols for pounds (£) and pence (p);
