Alphabet letter formation resources
Help children get to grips with handwriting with our Alphabet Letter Formation Practice Sheets- Cursive-Robot Themed. These handwriting practice sheets are brilliant for children in either Reception or year 1 to help them with fine motor skills, pencil control and letter formation.
These letters are in an unjoined cursive font WITH lead-ins. The guidance from the DfE is that children should not be learning to write using lead-ins, but we recognise that some schools will have their own methods, or wish to use these letter formation sheets with older children who are being taught to write in cursive script.
You can also use these letter formation sheets at home as a parent with your own child – they are suitable for ages 4-6, or with older children who need a little extra practice.
