Use this All About Me Chatterbox for transition day or at the start of term as a fun getting to know you activity that children love! Ditch those boring transition worksheets, and do something genuinely fun and hands on that your new class will remember and enjoy – setting the tone for the new year ahead.

These transition day chatterboxes come in two versions – a blank version so children can create their own completely, and a scaffolded version containing questions to draw out information about each child. Ask each child to draw their face on the front too so you can recognise each one. When everyone has finished, ask children to pair up to go through their chatterbox and get to know one another better.
