KS1 pirate money resources
Use our Add Money to the Pirate Treasure Chest Whole Class Teaching Version as a whole class teaching activity, inviting children to come up and add the correct number of coins to the treasure chest – or model it yourself!
Designed to be aligned with the following objectives from the maths national curriculum:
- recognise and use symbols for pounds (£) and pence (p); combine amounts to make a particular value
- find different combinations of coins that equal the same amounts of money
